Pay The Woman¹⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: James Best| T: M Keighley| D

13/2

Maiden pointer who was well held in a bumper but made a successful debut (40/1) over hurdles after 8 weeks off/leaving Adrian Costello in novice at Ffos Las (15.8f, good) 17 days ago. More to come.

Form: 4/2PF0-1

Yauthym³⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: P J Brennan| T: F O'Brien| OR: 110| CD

1/3

Fair hurdler who made the most of a good opportunity when winning 14-runner novice hurdle at this C&D (good to soft) 39 days ago. Leading claims of following up.

Form: 32F23-1

Gerboise Borget¹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Brendan Powell| T: B Pauling

11/1

Closely related to top-class hurdler Gemix. Showed some ability in a Uttoxeter bumper on debut and again under considerate rides at Ffos Las recently. May do better.

Form: 4F-35

Ginger Du Val^t⁵⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Ben Bromley⁽⁷⁾| T: Mrs M Rowley| OR: 94| D

7/1

Dual bumper winner in France. Showed bit of promise on 2 of 3 starts in maiden/novice hurdles but didn't get home over further for handicap bow at Perth in April. Has left Nigel Twiston-Davies since.

Form: 1/5V437-

Let's Get Real^t²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton

33/1

Is seemingly being brought along with handicaps in mind, only ninth of 11 when tongue tied in novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (19.9f, good) 21 days ago. Others preferred.

Form: 383-09

Natural Look⁵⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Benjamin Poste| T: T Symonds

25/1

€4,500 3-y-o, Ocovango mare. Half-sister to modest hurdler Not So Simple and fairly useful hurdler Chesterfield King, both by Kalanisi. Third sole start in Irish points (Apr 24).

Form: 3-

Current^t²³⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Lee Edwards| T: Dave Roberts| OR: 93

50/1

Left her previous efforts well behind in a hood when third in 9-runner contest at Ludlow (15.8f) in October but failed to back up that effort 3 weeks later. Hard to see her featuring on return.

Form: 5637-

My Poem^h,t1²⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Henry Brooke| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero

40/1

Fairly useful AW winner for Sir Michael Stoute. Has offered little in novice/maiden hurdle for current yard and a tongue tie is now applied.

Form: 8F

Stevie Mckeane³¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Mr Jason Dixon⁽⁷⁾| T: M Young

80/1

Modest maiden on Flat, stays 1¾m. Easy to look elsewhere for her hurdling debut on first start since leaving Tom Clover for 5,500 gns.

Forecasts

Yauthym (1/3), Pay The Woman (13/2), Ginger Du Val (7/1), Gerboise Borget (11/1), Natural Look (25/1), Let's Get Real (33/1), My Poem (40/1), Current (50/1), Stevie Mckeane (80/1)

YAUTHYM finally got off the mark over C&D last month and this looks a good opportunity for her to double her tally for the in-form Fergal O'Brien yard. Pay The Woman caused somewhat of a surprise when making a successful hurdling debut at Ffos Las earlier this month and she's taken to chase the selection home, ahead of Gerboise Borget.
