Forecasts

Mahagoni (1/1), Flippin' Eck (85/40), Benzema (7/1), Rollajam (12/1), Chili Valentino (14/1), Prodigious Blue (33/1), Texas Man (33/1), Master Richard (40/1), Caracristi (66/1)

Verdict

Not a particularly well-contested novice event, and MAHAGONI will probably be able to defy a penalty on only his third run. Flippin' Eck also stepped up on his debut effort when third at Thirsk just over 2 weeks ago, and looks the main opposition, though newcomer Chili Valentino would come firmly into the equation if the market spoke strongly in his favour.

  1. MAHAGONI
  2. FLIPPIN' ECK (IRE)
  3. CHILI VALENTINO
