Smart Getaway⁶¹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-12| J: Lewis Stones⁽⁷⁾| T: O Murphy| OR: 105

7/1

Winner on debut for this yard at Southwell in 2019 and runner-up 3 times since, including back from 18 months off at Market Rasen (18.6f, good). Step back up in trip will help and she's a big player.

Pammi^p¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Harry Reed| T: J S Goldie| OR: 101| C

4/1

Not the easiest to catch right, but she put in a good shift when runner-up off this reduced mark over C&D (good) 13 days ago. Reproduction of that effort will put her firmly in the picture.

Form: 5304-92

Don Brocco^t1³²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Thomas Willmott⁽⁵⁾| T: Mrs H O Graham| OR: 95

12/1

Hasn't shown much at all in maiden/novice hurdles and big step forward needed now pitched into a handicap. Tongue strap applied.

Form: 77-P6

Tokaramore^h¹⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-0| J: C O'Farrell| T: I Jardine| OR: 93

7/2

Winning hurdler/chaser who posted her best effort for a while when fifth of 11 at Cartmel (22.1f, good) recently. Given a real chance by the handicapper and she's one to consider.

Form: 2046-45

Oscar Blue^p⁵⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 10-6| J: Thomas Dowson| T: Mrs J C McGregor| OR: 85

200/1

Dual hurdles winner in 2015, but not much to report since and beaten a long way over C&D back from a break in April.

Form: PP2P/P9-

Gripper^b,t¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-3| J: D R Fox| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR: 82

7/1

Sole Flat win was registered on the AW and failed to make an impact on latest start in this sphere at Cartmel last month, taking hurdles record to 0-14.

Form: PP24-37

Coeur Aimant¹⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: Sean Quinlan| T: B Butterworth| OR: 79

4/1

Yet to pull up any trees over hurdles and while he wasn't disgraced at Cartmel (22.1f, good) last time, others make more appeal.

Form: 500P0-5

Frankies Fire¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 10-0| J: Charlotte Jones⁽⁵⁾| T: J Walton| OR: 77| D

11/1

Best effort yet under Rules when third in a 9-runner handicap hurdle at Carlisle in March, but recent Hexham effort was hardly inspiring and she has a bit to prove now.

Form: U6/53-20

Golden Chancer^t1⁶⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-0| J: Alain Cawley| T: D Bourke| OR: 71

8/1

One of his best races back from a breathing operation when third of 9 at Sedgefield (21.2f, good to soft) in April. Now tried in a tongue strap and more needed from 8 lb out of the handicap.

Form: 75P303-

Non-Runners

Late Date³⁸

Weight: 10-12| Age: 10

T: Micky Hammond J: Non Runner

Lissen To The Lady²⁰

Weight: 10-12| Age: 7

T: Miss S E Forster J: Emma Smith-Chaston

Forecasts

Tokaramore (7/2), Pammi (4/1), Lissen To The Lady (4/1), Coeur Aimant (4/1), Smart Getaway (7/1), Gripper (7/1), Golden Chancer (8/1), Frankies Fire (11/1), Don Brocco (12/1), Late Date (20/1), Oscar Blue (200/1)

A chance is taken on TOKARAMORE, who has slipped a long way down the weights and hinted that she may soon capitalise on the handicapper's mercy when fifth at Cartmel last time. Smart Getaway is a much-respected main danger on the back of a solid reappearance effort in April and Pammi is also a player having found just one too good over C&D recently.
