Forecasts

Penywern Taverner (5/4), The Ormer Gatherer (5/2), Bass Strait (7/1), Mahagoni (15/2), Attache (15/2), Cavalluccio (9/1), Life's A Beach (10/1), My Rosa's Gold (150/1)

Verdict

CAVALLUCCIO went into many notebooks following his staying-on sixth on debut at Lingfield last month, getting the hang of things as he went on and not knocked about. He's sure to have learnt plenty and can score second time up for Richard Hughes. There should be more to come from Penywern Taverner (Engaged Newbury Fri) so he's taken to chase the selection home, ahead of newcomer Bass Strait.

  1. CAVALLUCCIO (IRE)
  2. PENYWERN TAVERNER
  3. BASS STRAIT
