Modest maiden hurdler who has looked out of sorts recently. However, he was a winner in points earlier in his career so the switch to larger obstacles may help now.
Winning pointer who proved modest in handful of starts over hurdles. Not helped by a mid-race error on chase debut at Perth (2m) recently and he may yet have more to offer in this sphere.
Dual-winning pointer who got back on track when making winning chase bow at Huntingdon in November. Mixed bag has followed but more like it when runner-up at Uttoxeter last month. Not discounted.
Made it 2-5 last season with second all-the-way C&D victory in Sedgefield handicap chase (21f) in September. Not in same form from 9 lb higher mark back there in October and this run may be needed.
Fairly low-mileage 8-y-o who showed improved form to shed maiden tag in a C&D novices' handicap in May. 5 lb higher now but he may yet have more to offer as a chaser. Big player.
Rather in-and-out last term and, despite a further reduced mark, he again turned in a below par display when sixth of 10 at Fontwell (17.7f) last month.
Losing run is mounting up but solid start over fences this spring, creditable fourth in a C&D maiden prior to a good runner-up effort on handicap chase debut at Southwell. Should go well again.
Poor form over hurdles but definite signs of encouragement to glean from last month's C&D chase debut fifth. Needs to keep the errors at bay but likely he can do better in this sphere.
Modest form over hurdles/fences. Took a small step back in right direction when ninth in 14-runner Cartmel handicap last week but his task is to build on that now.
Veteran who arrives on a long losing run but he did at least better recent efforts when 7.5 lengths fourth of 14 at Cartmel (21f) last week. However, others appeal more for win purposes.
Dual course winner in October (latterly over C&D) who dispelled a host of poor runs when just edged out by a thriving rival over 15.6f here in May. One to consider again if replicating that now.
First form when making a winning chase debut at Lingfield (2m) in December. Pulled up next 2 starts but better effort when fifth of 10 over 15.6f here in May. Needs to step up again to figure.
Below best at Worcester (20f) in April and similar story when midfield at Ffos Las (2m) since, outpaced from 4 out. Step back up in trip a plus but others make more appeal.
Yet to make much of an impact in handicaps. First-time visor (replacing cheekpieces) needs to make a difference.

Astute Boy (10/3), Holme Abbey (11/2), Mackie Dee (15/2), No No Mac (8/1), Graystown (10/1), Tanrudy (12/1), Gallic Geordie (12/1), Teme Spirit (16/1), Rapid Raider (16/1), Morningside (16/1), Grand Coureur (16/1), Pass Rusher (22/1), Iconic Hero (28/1), Lovely Schtuff (33/1)
Following a more polished round of jumping, HOLME ABBEY shed the maiden tag in good style when landing a C&D novices' handicap chase last month and he's fancied to go well again now he's off the mark. Astute Boy, Graystown and Rapid Raider are others fancied to be in the mix.
