Ended 2020 in fine form, landing 3 of last 4 starts and remained in form on AW, solid fourth in Sprint Championship at Lingfield in April. Rare below par effort at York latest but type to bounce back.
Dual 6f scorer at Newmarket last season. Returned better than ever, holding Aberama Gold by 2 lengths at Doncaster (6f) in May and no surprise to see another good showing.
Multiple all-weather winner who gained breakthrough success on turf in small-field Goodwood handicap (5f) 5 weeks ago, battling well. Up 4 lb now but he's effective over 6f and rates a live player.
Successful twice at 6f last year and far from disgraced when sixth in Portland at Doncaster in September. Solid second on return at Kempton but not in same form at Newbury subsequently. Cheekpieces on
Useful sprinter who enhanced excellent record at Goodwood when successful over (6f) in April. Assessor applies a little more pressure and this rates a deeper race.
Losing run is mounting up but plenty of good efforts in defeat from sliding mark this year. Left poorly placed when well held in Victoria Cup but blinkers refitted and good showing not ruled out.
Scored at Chelmsford City in November and has continued in good nick, beaten only by a thriving rival from plum draw at Chester (7.6f) last week. Drop back in trip should hold no fears and claims.
Losing run stretches back over 2 years but plenty of good efforts to his name, fine second in last year's Stewards' Cup. Creditable third on Goodwood return (7f) in May and mark definitely workable.
The Knavesmire proved a happy hunting ground last year, winning twice at 6f. More miss than hit in handful of starts this term though, below form in handicaps at Ripon/York of late.

A competitive sprint handicap to close with the narrow vote in favour of ABERAMA GOLD. He's just the type to bounce back from a rare below-par effort at York recently and the application of cheekpieces may well put an extra edge on him. Lexington Dash, who tasted success at Doncaster, and Desert Safari are others to consider, whilst Tinto makes some each-way appeal at forecast longer odds.
