Fair gelding. Second of 11 in maiden (7/1) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 10 days ago, no match for winner. This drop in trip looks a good move and he's very much the one to beat.
Once-raced maiden. 100/1, last of 9 in maiden at Musselburgh (5f, good) on debut 35 days ago. Up in trip and he's hard to warm to.
Once-raced maiden. Seventh of 11 in maiden (28/1) at this C&D (good to soft) on debut. Off 9 months and he'll be of greater interest in handicaps further down the line.
Once-raced maiden. Eleventh of 12 in minor event (25/1) at Doncaster (6f, soft) on debut 19 days ago, slowly away. Big step forward needed.
Promising type. 25/1, fifth of 9 in maiden at Musselburgh (5f, good) on debut 35 days ago, hampered. Up in trip and he's likely to do better in time.
€14,000 foal, 15,000 gns 2-y-o, Mehmas gelding. Dam, placed at 6f-8.6f, including at 2 yrs, half-sister to useful 7f-9f winner Beaufort Twelve. Worth a second look in the betting.
Twice-raced maiden. Third of 7 in minor event (66/1) at Redcar (7f, good to soft) 17 days ago (found to be lame post-race). No more than an each-way squeak.
Mazameer filly. Dam Greek maiden half-sister to smart 2-y-o 7f winner Sent From Heaven. Will only be of real interest on debut here if the market vibes are notably upbeat.
Twice-raced maiden. Last of 8 in maiden (125/1) at Ayr (6f, good) 23 days ago. Looks set for another struggle.

Forecasts
Miquelon (4/6), Captain Vallo (11/2), Cully (6/1), Mehraki Star (8/1), Glen Lomond (11/1), Dulla Bhatti (18/1), Pink Silk (66/1), Toshack (200/1), Storm Master (250/1)
It will be disappointing should MIQUELON fail to deliver, having chased home above-average types in a Wetherby novice and Wolverhampton maiden on his 2 starts for this yard. The drop to this trip should be in his favour given that he's clearly not short of speed. There were positives to glean from Glen Lomond's debut effort and he is preferred to newcomer Mehraki Star for forecast purposes.
- MIQUELON
- GLEN LOMOND
