Well-bred colt who has shown a fair level of ability in his 3 outings to date. Potential for better now stepping up to a trip which should suit on breeding. Has had wind surgery.

Second on 1¼m Pontefract debut (heavy) last October and perhaps not over those exertions when a well-held fourth at Newmarket 16 days later. Remains open to improvement.

Fairly useful form. Good reappearance second in 1m Newmarket handicap 20 days ago. Open to further improvement and the one to beat now stepping back up in trip.

Forecasts

Babindi (11/10), Barn Owl (11/4), Harlem Soul (3/1), Oscillates (14/1)

Verdict

BABINDI's Newmarket reappearance second is the best form on offer so she gets the nod for the William Haggas team. Barn Owl likely has a bigger performance in him now stepping up in trip and can follow the selection home.

  1. BABINDI
  2. BARN OWL
  3. HARLEM SOUL
