Age: 7| Weight: 9-9| J: Marco Ghiani⁽³⁾| T: W Stone| OR: 67| CD

2/1

C&D winner. Nineteen runs since last win in 2019. 9/1, ninth of 13 in handicap at Windsor (10f, good to firm) 50 days ago. Has good chance on pick of form.

Form: 67-2569

Sky Lake^p²⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 9-7| J: Nicola Currie| T: K P De Foy| OR: 65| BF

8/1

Below form sixth of 11 in handicap (10/3) at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 28 days ago, slowly away. Well held all 3 previous runs on turf and she's probably worth taking on.

Form: 773-226

Couldn't Could She²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 9-2| J: Charlie Bennett| T: A West| OR: 60| CD

16/5

C&D winner. 12/1, good second of 13 in handicap at Lingfield (10f, soft) 24 days ago, closing all way to line. Has work to do in order to go one better this time, though.

Form: 70070-2

(1)

Summer Valley³²⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 9-2| J: T P Queally| T: G & J Moore| OR: 60

3/1

16/1, creditable fourth of 14 in handicap at Sandown (10f, good to firm). Off 10 months, which is a worry, but she has low mileage and is worth considering off this reduced mark.

Form: 506/044-

(7)

The Warrior²²

Age: 9| Weight: 8-12| J: Connor Murtagh⁽³⁾| T: L Carter| OR: 56| D

16/1

Latest win at Lingfield in February. Below form sixth of 10 in handicap at Lingfield (10f, AW, 10/1) 22 days ago. Looks vulnerable from a win point of view.

Form: 7-41306

(3)

Burning Sun¹⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 8-7| J: William Carson| T: A Carson| OR: 51

8/1

Career best when winning 13-runner handicap (40/1) at Lingfield (7f, heavy) 10 days ago, running on. Going into the unknown trip-wise, but 5 lb rise fair and good chance if stamina holds out.

Form: 673901

Forecasts

Contingency Fee (7/4), The Jean Genie (2/1), Summer Valley (3/1), Couldn't Could She (16/5), Burning Sun (8/1), Sky Lake (8/1), The Warrior (16/1)

The trip was 7f and conditions were testing when BURNING SUN finally opened her account at Lingfield recently, but the combination of this stiffer test and faster ground may not prove to be an issue and, if so, she could follow up off a 5 lb higher mark. Summer Valley looks the danger, ahead of The Jean Genie.
