Runner-up in an AW bumper on the second of his 2 starts for Nicky Henderson during 2019/20 campaign. Likely to make his mark in this sphere, but 15-month absence is an obvious concern.
Well held on debut in November 2019, but has shown more spark in bumpers at Plumpton and Chepstow since returning to action in March. Possibilities if jumping fluently now switched to hurdles.
Winless following 4 starts on the Flat for Daniel Kubler and changed hands for just 2,500 gns. Probably best watched on hurdles debut.
Placed in a couple of bumpers for Richard Hughes prior to winning one on debut new yard in December. Looked in need of the run back from a break on hurdles debut at Warwick and now tried in a hood.
Fair form at best on the Flat in Ireland for Mick Halford, but offered little on last month's hurdles debut at Ludlow.
Winning pointer who made promising debut in Chepstow bumper in February. Wasn't knocked about when third in a 6-runner novice here on recent hurdling bow and he's open to improvement.
Winless following 10 starts on the level and while he left his hurdles debut form behind when third of 14 in a Ballinrobe maiden in September, more is needed back from a break for new yard here.
Runner-up on first completed start in this sphere at Kelso in March. Failed to build on that next time, but merits respect on debut for shrewd new yard nonetheless.
Modest maiden on the Flat who didn't achieve much on completed start over hurdles at Market Rasen when last seen in August. Hard to warm to on this debut for new yard.
Half-sister to useful hurdlers Burrows Edge and Burrows Park, but she hasn't shown much in a bumper/mares' maiden hurdle so far.
Minor promise in bumpers and stepped up on low-key hurdles debut when chasing home the useful Lilly Pedlar over 2½m here recently. Solid chance if coping with this drop back in trip.
Very modest maiden on the Flat and has shown precious little switched to this sphere the last twice.

Forecasts
Wicked West (5/6), Le Bateau (11/4), Prime Pretender (15/2), Chantilly Haze (11/1), King's Counsel (16/1), Fox's Socks (18/1), Groom D'Oudairies (33/1), Vocal Duke (33/1), Party Potential (66/1), Gibraltarian (80/1), Burrows Treat (100/1), Malvolio (200/1)
There were plenty of positives to glean from PRIME PRETENDER's recent hurdles debut over 2½m here and, with this drop in trip a good move and improvement on the cards, he gets the nod. Bumper winner Le Bateau can be expected to leave his initial run in this sphere behind and he is feared, along with Wicked West and Chantilly Haze.
- PRIME PRETENDER
- LE BATEAU
- WICKED WEST (IRE)
