Phoenix Dawn^b¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Cillin Leonard⁽⁷⁾| T: Dr R D P Newland| OR: 106| BF| D

11/4

Hit the frame on first two starts for this stable last November and, fit from a spin on the Flat, he's well worth monitoring in the betting.

Form: 05/P224-

Theocrat³⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 11-3| J: David Noonan| T: N J Hawke| OR: 111| D

15/2

Off the mark on handicap debut at Taunton in April and took another step forward when third at Market Rasen a month ago. Should go well under another positive ride.

Form: 47513-

Begin The Luck¹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: R T Dunne| T: Mrs Caroline Bailey| OR: 104| D

15/8

Improving fast and readily completed a double at Southwell 19 days ago, so looks an obvious choice in his bid to complete the hat-trick against, in the main, more exposed types.

Form: 06721-1

Billy's Angel^b¹⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 11-0| J: J M Quinlan| T: Miss A Murphy| OR: 102| D

9/1

Off the mark for this yard in a jumpers bumper in February. Remained in form over hurdles/fences since (latest effort in handicap hurdle at Plumpton best excused), so shouldn't be fully dismissed.

Forecasts

Begin The Luck (15/8), Phoenix Dawn (11/4), Sid Hoodie (5/1), Roar (7/1), Theocrat (15/2), Billy's Angel (9/1), Glimpse Of Gold (14/1)

The hat-trick seeking BEGIN THE LUCK has even more improvement in him and is a confident selection to take this. Phoenix Dawn isn't long with a shrewd yard, so he may well have a bigger effort in him, while Theocrat also arrives with an encouraging profile.
