Confirmed debut promise when readily landing a 5-runner novice (11/8) at Newcastle (12.4f) 71 days ago. Type to go on improving, so warrants respect despite the penalty.

Forecasts

Auriferous (2/1), Skytree (11/4), Dirham Emirati (10/3), Fight For It (4/1), Forever William (15/2), Overthink (11/1), Street View (20/1), Hard To Fault (28/1), Full Moon Rising (40/1)

Verdict

AURIFEROUS has already shown a good deal of ability and, with this stiffer test likely to draw further improvement out of him, he's preferred to the penalised Dirham Emirati, who had plenty in hand at Newcastle last time. Fight For It also warrants a mention on the back of his considerate introduction.

  1. AURIFEROUS (IRE)
  2. DIRHAM EMIRATI (IRE)
  3. FIGHT FOR IT (IRE)
