Smart hurdler at his best but he's thrice been below par back in this sphere after failing to convince over fences earlier in 2020. Lots to prove.
Made light of 16-month absence when landing Kelso handicap and good second of 11 at Ayr (2m4f, heavy) in March, clear of rest. Still low mileage, and can make his presence felt up in trip.
Smart at best but missed over 3 years and pulled up either side of a solid fourth-place finish at Naas in March. Others are more solid.
Overcame mistakes despite switching to hurdling when doubling career tally over obstacles at Plumpton (25f) in March. Backed that up when third at Cheltenham and he can remain competitive.
Useful stayer on Flat for Jamie Osborne and improving nicely over hurdles, supplementing his handicap debut win at Fontwell in ready fashion at Exeter 3 weeks ago. Still looks ahead of his mark.
Never really convinced as a chaser but well prepared to make a successful return to hurdling at Ayr in March (20.5f). Stays this far, but no banker to be in the same form given overall profile.
Rather fortunate winner at Newton Abbot (26.5f, good) in September, but that was still an improved display and last 2 efforts 5 months apart suggest he's still in god nick.
Sweetened up by return to hurdling, winning over 3m at Aintree and Newbury under Fergus Gillard during the autumn. Good run quickly came to a halt, so others more persuasive in change of headgear.
All 5 wins gained at Uttoxeter, the latest in 12-runner event in October. Sound in-frame efforts later that autumn but well held away from that venue in February and has moved yards. Headgear on.
Thrived in plating hurdling company in autumn 2019, racking up 4 wins. Well prepared to land another claimer in March but this is a different ask and has to prove stamina for a well-run 3m.
Dual winning hurdler who got back on track after a brief spell chasing with a pair of third-place finishes at up to 18.9f. Stayed well on the Flat but this will test his stamina.

Corrieben Reiver (10/3), Proschema (9/2), Trincomalee (5/1), Giovanni Change (6/1), Jersey Wonder (7/1), Colonial Dreams (7/1), Repetitio (8/1), Ballon Onabudget (8/1), Sirobbie (10/1), Dell' Arca (11/1), Grand Morning (11/1), Jarveys Plate (12/1), Talkischeap (16/1), Canyon City (16/1), Vision Des Flos (18/1), Ballyellis (22/1), Wakea (25/1)
JERSEY WONDER will encounter different ground conditions to what he's faced when winning a pair of handicaps in recent weeks, but he was a stayer on the level and appeals as being ahead of the assessor. Ballon Onabudget and Jarveys Plate look better equipped than most were this to turn into a slog and they head the opposition.
