Responded very well to headgear when going close in a couple of Cheltenham Grade 3 handicaps in January 2020. Shaped well to a point on reappearance over 3m and this will reveal more.
Completed a hat-trick over fences in 2018 and looked better than ever when winning handicaps at Stratford/Fontwell this season. Struggled in Old Roan at Aintree and fell at the first on return.
Made light of an 18-month absence with impressive victory in 19f Wetherby listed handicap chase on return. Better than bare result at Cheltenham next 2 stars before unseating in the Topham.
Always going to be a chaser and made successful return in 2m Ludlow handicap in October. Comfortable winner of a C&D handicap a month ago and 7 lb rise shouldn't prevent another bold bid.
Second in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen before winning weaker handicap over the same 21.4f in October, showing a good attitude. Seemed to be found out by revised mark the following month.
Likeable chaser who was better than ever when runner-up from off the pace in the Topham a month ago, sticking to the task. Has to be respected up 3 lb.
Walked over in March and runner-up in 7-runner handicap at Ascot a week later, looking a big threat before effort flattened out. Eased 1 lb.
In fine form during light 2018/19, winning 2 of his 3 starts, latterly at Warwick (20f). Almost certainly needed the run following 26 months off in March but didn't show much all the same.
Resumed winning ways under a good front-running ride in 2m4f handicap chase at Wincanton and repeated the trick despite a few errors at Chepstow. Up 7 lb in a deeper race.

Forecasts
Eritage (9/4), Lalor (9/2), Pink Eyed Pedro (6/1), Huntsman Son (13/2), Kauto The King (7/1), Marracudja (10/1), Fidux (11/1), Drumlee Sunset (25/1), Imperial Presence (25/1)
PINK EYED PEDRO ran with enormous credit when runner-up in the Topham and on that evidence, his career-high mark is fully justified. He could be the answer to what is a warm contest for the time of year, with Eritage, Huntsman Son and Marracudja a trio of possible threats.
- PINK EYED PEDRO
- ERITAGE (FR)
- HUNTSMAN SON (IRE)
