Broomfield Burg^h1¹⁰⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson| BF

3/1

Won sole start in Irish points (Oct 4) and strong in the betting to make a winning Rules debut at Newbury in January, only to prove too free in the mud. Could be a different proposition in a hood.

Form: 17-

Brorson³⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: James Best| T: M Keighley

5/1

€50,000 3-y-o, Getaway gelding. Dam unraced. Placed once from 3 starts in Irish points and promising start under Rules when runner-up in a C&D bumper a month ago. Sets the standard.

Form: F262-

Khilwafy

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Aaron Anderson⁽⁷⁾| T: D Thompson

40/1

£6,000 3-y-o, Mukhadram gelding. Half-brother to 1m winner Amaany. Dam smart 7f-8.4f winner.

Form:

Monymusk Lad^h1⁵⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: T J O'Brien| T: P Hobbs & J White

66/1

Cheap purchase who came in for a shrewd ride when a narrow fourth on debut at Kempton. No real surprise he didn't back that up at Wincanton. First-time hood on.

Form: 48-

Time For Timone^t1⁷⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Mr B Brackenbury⁽⁷⁾| T: A M Hales

33/1

€4,500 Mahler gelding. Half-brother to useful chaser The Kings Writ. Wasn't unbacked ahead of debut in February but didn't show a lot. Tongue tie now on.

Form: 7-

Ocean Heights³⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 10-8| J: Bryony Le Clerc| T: L Wadham

Forecasts

Broomfield Burg (3/1), Barony Legends (3/1), Brorson (5/1), Ocean Heights (13/2), William Cody (10/1), Saturday Song (10/1), Camembert Electric (14/1), Time For Timone (33/1), Khilwafy (40/1), Monymusk Lad (66/1)

BROOMFIELD BURG was far too keen at Newbury in January but, now equipped with a hood, this winning pointer is well worth another chance. Brorson sets the standard on his runner-up effort over C&D, while Camembert Electric and William Cody are interesting newcomers.
