Useful and consistent hurdler for Willie Mullins. Unable to get competitive in 3 runs over fences for new yard, but he's been given a chance by the handicapper and won't mind the drying ground.

Creditable fifth in a 12-runner handicap hurdle at Wincanton when returning from a break 13 days ago. Down to a career-low mark and claims if finding some fluency back in this sphere.
Winning pointer who shaped well on first 2 starts over hurdles. Failed to land the odds at Fontwell last time, but lost several lengths and the start and cheekpieces enlisted for this chase debut.
Suffered a heavy early fall on chase debut in March, but jumped well in the main when subsequently chasing home a progressive type at Warwick (3m). 1 lb lower now and he's high on the shortlist.
Returned to form from out of the blue when landing a 23.4f Fakenham handicap hurdle back from a 4-month break in December. However, he was pulled up on sole previous start in this sphere.
Failed to land a meaningful blow in a bumper/3 starts over hurdles, but there were more encouraging signs at Fakenham (2½m) last time and he's worth a second look on this chase/handicap debut.

The Newest One (3/1), Gateway To Europe (10/3), Quartz Du Rheu (7/2), No Anxiety (5/1), Juge Et Parti (13/2), Big Nasty (8/1), Drakes Well (9/1), Present From Dubai (10/1)
Though winless following half-a-dozen attempts over hurdles, THE NEWEST ONE should pick up a race in this sphere sooner rather than later judged on his effort at Warwick where he was a clear second to the progressive One More Fleurie (winner again since). He gets the nod ahead of Quartz du Rheu, who is likely to come good over fences before long, while Drakes Well also merits consideration.
