Has quickly developed into a smart chaser, though Energumene was way too good for him at Naas. Fell at Leopardstown next time then far too keen at Cheltenham. Could show plenty more here.

Most impressive when winning all 3 starts over fences this term under Paul Townend, taking the step up to Grade 1 company in his stride at Leopardstown. Great prospect who will take all the beating.
|
Very smart chaser. Two wins from 4 runs last season, well on top at the finish when taking 20f Fairyhouse Grade 1 25 days ago. More needed to take this back down in trip.
|
Fairly useful chaser. Course winner. 23¼ lengths last of 5 to Elimay in listed chase (25/1) at Fairyhouse (21f, good to soft) 26 days ago, pulling hard. Outsider and very hard to fancy.

Forecasts
Energumene (2/5), Janidil (4/1), Captain Guinness (11/2), Embittered (12/1), Zarkareva (100/1)
ENERGUMENE missed Cheltenham but that could prove to be a blessing in disguise as he contests a pretty thin-looking Grade 1 here. He's a fine prospect and should take all the beating if ready to roll. C&D winner Captain Guinness might be the one for the forecast if settling better than he did in the Arkle.
