Modest maiden on Flat for Mick Channon. Arrives in decent nick from spell hurdling, so he's one for the shortlist.

Forecasts

Villanelle (7/4), Denable (4/1), Constraint (9/2), Jean Mary (15/2), Seventeen O Four (17/2), Scudamore (14/1), Jack D'Or (18/1), Strict Order (25/1), Poucor (40/1)

Verdict

Plenty of these have question marks against them and VILLANELLE looks to have been found an excellent opportuntity to open her account after a run of near misses. Constraint is also searching for her breakthrough victory but arrives in good nick and is feared most, with Poucor no forlorn hope either after a decent spell over hurdles.

  1. VILLANELLE
  2. CONSTRAINT
  3. POUCOR
