Useful chaser at his best but he's been pulled up twice since his good fifth in Cheltenham Cross Country handicap in November. Needs to get back on track.

Fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser at his best though he arrives out of sorts. Dropping in the weights but others still much preferred.

Off the mark for current yard at Stratford (2m6f) and has continued in good form, cheekpieces on when 7th in Durham National at Sedgefield in October. Has won off a break before, so worth considering.

Made it 2-3 for new yard this season when stylish scorer of 2m7f handicap at Newbury 25 days ago. Up 7 lb but still low mileage and another bold showing is on the cards.

Three-time staying chase winner who resumed with eye-catching third in Perth handicap. Had wind op before last over inadequate 2m4f at Huntingdon 45 days ago. Blinkers refitted and could bounce back.

Useful chaser at best but he has shown little in four runs this season. Easily passed over.

Forecasts

Tinkers Hill Tommy (5/4), Bbold (7/2), Louis' Vac Pouch (5/1), Very First Time (8/1), Another Stowaway (12/1), Vivas (14/1), Kapgarry (25/1)

Verdict

TINKERS HILL TOMMY has really got his act together since joining Rebecca Curtis and is fancied to defy a 7 lb rise for his comfortable Newbury success and complete a quick hat-trick. Bbold is handily weighted and goes well fresh so rates the chief threat after a break with Very First Time not ruled out either back up in trip.

  1. TINKERS HILL TOMMY (IRE)
  2. BBOLD (IRE)
  3. VERY FIRST TIME
