Missed 2019 but thrived last season, winning Group 3s at York and this C&D. Has a 3 lb penalty here but still capable of going close if ready to go.
Sea The Stars colt who improved again when comfortably winning the Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket. Not disgraced under a penalty in Gordon Stakes at Goodwood final start. Should have more to offer.
Smart sort who continued on the up last season, building on excellent second in Royal Ascot handicap when winning Old Newton Cup at Haydock. Not seen to best effect in Ebor after. Big player.
Winless last term but series of solid efforts in ultra-competitive 3-y-o handicaps. Only fourth of 8 tried at this level over C&D final start, however.
Smart gelding who got right back on song for his new yard when easily winning 1m4f handicap at Wolverhampton. Followed up in class 2 event at Doncaster 3 weeks ago and worth a shot at this level.
Smart veteran who picked up a Group 2 at Longchamp (13.9f) under Dettori last summer. May want further this this nowadays but is race fit. Place claims.
Made an excellent start when beating a couple of now-useful sorts at Doncaster. Failed to make an impact in the St Leger next time but defied a penalty in novice at Ascot. Back up in class.
Promising sort who completed hat-trick with plenty in hand in class 2 handicap at Haydock (11.6f, heavy, 1/2) in September and smart form when third in listed race at Ascot final start. Respected.
Fairly-useful filly but out of her depth here.

Forecasts
Al Aasy (6/4), Kipps (5/1), Deja (5/1), Without A Fight (7/1), Outbox (8/1), Euchen Glen (18/1), Tyson Fury (20/1), Red Verdon (20/1), Punting (300/1)
DEJA wasn't seen to best effect in the Ebor when last seen but he took his form to another level prior to that, runner-up at Royal Ascot before a decisive winner of the Old Newton Cup at Haydock, and is well worth a shot at this grade. Al Aasy scored at this level as a 3-y-o and is the type to do better again this season, while the race-fit Outbox arrives in top form.
