Lill Smith^p1,t⁷⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: William Marshall⁽⁷⁾| T: Henry Oliver| OR: 98WS

33/1

Some decent efforts for Noel Meade in Ireland and encouraging signs prior to falling 2 out on return/debut for new yard at Uttoxeter. However, she's ran no sort of race on both starts since.

Form: 400-F08

Keepscalling¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: K Brogan⁽⁵⁾| T: Katy Price| OR: 94

16/1

Lightly-raced mare who again ran below the pick of her form in maiden company when second in a seller in December. Failed to complete both starts for current yard so probably best to look elsewhere.

Form: 4392PU

Local Affair^p²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-8| J: Paul O'Brien⁽³⁾| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 94| D

10/1

Below par in the first half of this season and similar story on reappearance at Huntingdon. Now 4 lb below his last winning mark so needs keeping a close eye on in the betting.

Form: 7U57P6

Power Home¹⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: J J Burke| T: D J Coakley| OR: 92

9/1

Fair on the Flat (all wins on AW). Showed more than previously when third of 14 in novice hurdle (28/1) at Chepstow (16f, good) 17 days ago and she's open to improvement heading into handicaps.

Form: P73

Furia D'Oudairies^h1¹⁷⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽⁵⁾| T: N J Gifford| OR: 92

10/1

Maiden but she has reached the frame on both starts this term, the better effort when 7 lengths third at Plumpton (2m, good) last time, leading long way. Hood on for first start for new yard.

Form: 2/F65-43

Fancy Shapes^h¹⁶⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Brendan Powell| T: M Scudamore| OR: 91

10/1

Placed on second of 2 starts in Irish points and showed much more following a wind op when third of 13 in novice hurdle at Newton Abbot. Too free on handicap bow so must settle better to feature.

Form: P3/80-37

Lady Cylla²²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: R T Dunne| T: Sheila Lewis| OR: 91

7/2

Maiden who ended her time with Tony Carroll with a creditable second in 2m Stratford handicap in November. Shaped as if better for the run when third on yard debut and she's one to keep an eye on.

Form: 4-50423

Lime Drop³⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: T J O'Brien| T: H D Daly| OR: 88

14/1

Well held in two bumpers but showed a bit more than previously over hurdles when fourth at Doncaster last month. Opening mark looks fair enough and she's not without hope.

Form: 7-7F94

Bossiney Bay^v¹⁸⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: P J Brennan| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 87WS

13/2

Inconsistent sort who shaped much better than the distance beaten suggests when seventh at Exeter back in October, weakening after bad mistake 3 out. May need this run on reappearance.

Form: 488237

Sue Be It^t³⁹

Age: 10| Weight: 11-1| J: Adrian Heskin| T: Mrs N S Evans| OR: 87| D

33/1

Dual winner over timber in summer 2018 but rarely in same form since, finishing tailed-off in handicap at Wincanton on reappearance last month.

Form: 2P50-60

Karastani³⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Tom Cannon| T: A King| OR: 84

18/1

Poor form in bumpers/over hurdles and ran as well as could be expected when midfield in a jumpers bumper at the start of February. Well held at Doncaster last time but interesting on handicap debut.

Form: 7-54P66

Kimberley^p,t²²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-2| J: Alan Johns| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 80

9/2

Fair maiden on the Flat for James Fanshawe. Left previous efforts behind to be competitive from a basement mark when runner-up in cheekpieces at Uttoxeter 22 days ago so merits consideration.

Form: 5972

Missesgeejay^p¹⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 10-0| J: C J Todd⁽³⁾| T: Mrs Stella Barclay| OR: 69

66/1

Remains a maiden and has shown little in 3 starts this term, again checking out tamely at Wetherby last month. Others preferred.

Form: 342-RP8

Forecasts

Ayr Of Elegance (5/2), Lady Cylla (7/2), Kimberley (9/2), Bossiney Bay (13/2), Power Home (9/1), Local Affair (10/1), Fancy Shapes (10/1), Furia D'Oudairies (10/1), Pillar Of Steel (12/1), Lime Drop (14/1), Keepscalling (16/1), Karastani (18/1), Sue Be It (33/1), Lill Smith (33/1), Missesgeejay (66/1)

This can go to AYR OF ELEGANCE, who landed a gamble in taking fashion in a change of headgear at Plumpton early last month. A 10 lb rise may not be enough to prevent the follow up and she's one to keep onside now up and running again. Lady Cylla should go well with a recent run under her belt so heads the list of dangers, ahead of Kimberley in an open-looking contest.
