Twice-raced maiden. 50/1, last of 9 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 7 days ago. Likely to struggle once again.
Promising individual. 3/1, won 10-runner minor event in good style at Chelmsford (8f) on final 2-y-o start. Remains open to improvement and should prove a tough nut to crack.
Twice-raced maiden. 13/2, sixth of 9 in minor event at Ayr (8f, soft) when last seen in September. Gelded since and will be more appealing when sent down the handicap route.
Once-raced maiden. Ninth of 12 in minor event at Doncaster (7f, good to firm, 33/1) on debut. Off 8 months and he's hard to warm to here.
Fascinating Rock colt. Dam ran twice. Top yard more than capable of readying a newcomer and it'll be interesting to see what the market has to say.
Once-raced maiden. 28/1, fourth of 13 in minor event at Newcastle (7.1f) on debut 20 days ago. Likely his future lies in handicaps.
Promising individual. Third of 12 in minor event (4/1) at Lingfield (7f, AW) in October, nearest finish. This step up in trip should help unlock some improvement and he's a lively each-way player.
Twice-raced maiden. Third of 11 in minor event at Thirsk (7f, good to soft, 11/4), caught further back than ideal. Off 7 months. Should progress, particularly when switched to handicaps.
€26,000 yearling, Pride of Dubai filly. Dam, 1½m winner, half-sister to very smart 1¼m winner Big Orange. Yard no stranger to success with newcomers and she's one to note in the betting.
Once-raced maiden. Seventh of 11 in minor event at Newcastle (7.1f, 14/1) on debut. Off 137 days. Another who will be of greater interest when tackling handicaps.
Once-raced maiden. 28/1, fourth of 7 in minor event at Newcastle (8f) on debut 10 days ago. Sizeable step forward needed if she's to play a part in the finish here.

Forecasts
Headingley (10/11), Villeurbanne (11/4), Wor Willie (17/2), Carter Cowboy (17/2), Life On The Rocks (14/1), Clansman (16/1), Mabdaa (28/1), Deny Knowledge (40/1), Rita R (50/1), She's No Angel (66/1), Ile De Brehat (200/1)
Mark Johnston's string has been typically quick off the blocks this season and HEADINGLEY should provide the Middleham handler with another winner. Narrowly beaten on debut at Ayr in September, he never saw another rival when subsequently scoring on the all-weather and appeals as the type to go on to better things in due course. Villeurbanne is second choice ahead of newcomer Deny Knowledge.
