Fair 1m4f maiden on the Flat. Only three runs over hurdles in Ireland and turned in poor effort in Tipperary novice 7 months ago. Has plenty to prove on return for his new yard.
Showed ability when fourth in novice hurdles on his first two runs but well held when falling heavily 2 out in Doncaster handicap last month. Hood/tongue strap on now with bit to prove.
Yet to open his account but has shaped encouragingly of late, strong-travelling second of 16 in 2m3f handicap at Catterick 57 days ago. Expected to be bang there despite 4 lb rise.
Lightly-raced maiden. 66/1, best effort when fourth of 11 in 2m novice hurdle at Hexham 16 days ago. Goes into handicaps now but others are better treated.
Winless since 2019 but he arrives in decent form from the Flat. Not discounted off reduced mark back in this sphere.
Fair maiden hurdler who recorded good second in Newcastle jumpers bumper in February on final run for Keith Dalgleish. Respected for his new yard.
It's now thirteen runs since his last win in 2018, and he raced too freely when fifth of 9 to Old Jewry over C&D (8/1) 13 days ago. Needs to settle better.
Gained second win at Taunton in January and run best ignored (raced on unfavoured inside) there 19 days ago. Worth considering in refitted cheekpieces.
Low-mileage hurdler who recorded good third of 12 in handicap at Warwick (16f) 20 days ago. Can make his presence felt again nudged up just 1 lb.
Not the easiest to catch right, but he got back on track when scoring over C&D (12/1) 13 days ago. Up 3 lb and needs to show he can follow it up now.
Course winner but he's proving a bit and miss this season, pulled up in Ayr handicap 33 days ago. Others are more persuasive.
Modest 2m hurdle winner last term but he's been off since pulled up in Southwell handicap 8 months ago. Has plenty to prove on his return.
Lightly-raced maiden hurdler. 20/1, fair ninth of 16 on handicap bow at Newcastle (2m4f) 25 days ago. Faces uphill task at these weights.

Forecasts
Donladd (4/1), Ace Ventura (4/1), Shaws Bridge (5/1), Old Jewry (6/1), Russian Service (11/1), Get With It (12/1), Brickadank (14/1), Fort De L'Ocean (14/1), Coup De Gold (16/1), Bingo D'Olivate (16/1), Echo Express (18/1), Your Place (50/1), Scottsdale (66/1), Glory (125/1)
Lots of these have question marks against them but DONLADD has been knocking on the door and is taken to gain a deserved first win having found only one too good in big-field handicaps on his last two starts. Ace Ventura rates a major threat on the back of his recent Warwick third, with Fort de L'Ocean expected to build on his Stratford sixth and worth considering too.
- DONLADD (IRE)
- ACE VENTURA
- FORT DE L'OCEAN (FR)
