Promising individual. Excellent second of 9 on handicap debut (5/1) at Lingfield (7f, AW) 21 days ago. Has presumably been hard to train but should be bang there if coming out of that race okay.

Runner-up first three start before landing odds in 9-runner novice at Kempton back in 2019. Respectable seventh of 14 on handicap debut there back in October and should be capable of better.

Latest win at Kempton in January. 18/1, ran as well as could be expected when 5½ lengths fifth of 9 to Mums Tipple in listed race at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 20 days ago. Eyeshields back on.

6/1, probably remained in form when fifth of 9 in handicap at Leicester (7f, heavy). Off 171 days. May need this run on first outing for yard after leaving Richard Hannon.

C&D winner. Two wins from 4 runs last year. Latest win here in October. Best effort when second of 8 in handicap at this C&D (6/1) 20 days ago. A repeat of that effort would see him go close.

Followed Lingfield success with career-best win over C&D in February. Never a threat in hat-trick bid at Wolverhampton last time (possibly unsuited by a change of tactics) so must bounce back.

C&D winner here in December. Again below form when eighth of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (6f, 4/1) 28 days ago, weakening inside final 1f. This a better race so hard to see him featuring.

Course winner. 33/1 and hooded for 1st time, never on terms when eleventh of 13 in handicap at Kempton (8f). Off 6 months. Operating below best at present but given a squeak by the handicapper.

Course winner. Latest win at Southwell in March. Looked potentially well-in but not in same form when third of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 5/2) 21 days ago. Others more persuasive.

28/1, bounced back to form when third of 14 in handicap at Kempton (7f). Off 177 days. This a step up in class so other make more appeal on this occasion.

James Tate's SKY COMMANDER was beaten by only another lightly-raced type on his handicap debut at Lingfield 3 weeks ago. He's presumably been hard to train, but should go on improving now. The main threat could be Riot, who failed to improve as required at Kempton in October but should be capable of better judged on his 2-y-o form. Ghaith completes the shortlist.
