Smart chaser at his best. Some way removed from that so far this season but mark has come down 11 lb since the start of the campaign and yard's very good recent form provides hope for revival.

Winner of 19.5f handicap chase here in October 2019 and almost doubled his tally in this sphere at Ludlow (23.8f, soft) last time. However, nudged up 3 lb for that and a career-best is required.
Made winning start over fences in Fontwell maiden in November. Placed in mares' listed events on each of her last 3 starts and merits serious consideration on handicap debut in this sphere.
Prolific point winner who has failed to complete on each of his 3 chase starts this winter, running no sort of race when pulled up at Sandown last time. Hood now reached for.
Useful at best and probably needed the run when returning from a lengthy layoff for new yard at Kempton in January. However, confidence will not have been helped by subsequent heavy fall at Catterick.
Fairly useful winning hurdler (2-5 in that sphere) and similar form over fences. Beaten a fair way when tried in cheekpieces (discarded here) at Kelso last time, though. Has had a wind op.
Three-time winner in 2019 and left tame reappearance behind when fourth at Warwick in September. Below par at Wetherby since, but dangerous to discount off this reduced mark.

Forecasts
Born Survivor (5/2), Midnightreferendum (5/2), Baron De Midleton (4/1), Rocco (13/2), Ibis Du Rheu (11/1), Colorado Doc (12/1), Wishfull Dreaming (14/1)
The vote goes to MIDNIGHTREFERENDUM, who wasn't beaten far despite finding 3m on deep ground too stiff a test in a listed race at Exeter last month. She will appreciate dropping back in trip on a faster surface here and is on a workable mark for her handicap debut over fences. Born Survivor has been given a chance by the assessor and is feared most ahead of Wishfull Dreaming.
