Low-mileage 8-y-o who arrives on the up, ridden more patiently than usual when landing 3m handicap at Ayr 15 days ago. Up 5 lb but still not taken lightly.

Racked up fifth chasing win of current term when making all in 3m Doncaster handicap in January but turned in a rare poor effort when beating only one there last month. Sort to bounce back.

Opened his account over fences at Wetherby in January but has been hit and miss since, runner-up at Sedgefield (3m2f) 12 days ago. Not the best of jumpers too.

Three-time winner over fences for Stef Keniry last season. Yet to score for new yard but runner-up all three starts, set lot to do at Musselburgh last time. Another bold showing is on the cards.

Right back on song having failed to complete on his three previous runs when emphatic winner of 3m Doncaster handicap 10 days ago. Hiked up 9 lb and far from certain to back it up though.

Fairly useful effort when winning at Kelso (3m) in November 2019 but lightly raced since and well held all 4 runs this term. Has serious questions to answer now.

Opened his account for new stable at Kelso in October and in good form until poor effort at Muselburgh last time when cheekpieces left off. That headgear goes back on now so no forlorn hope.

Ex-French chaser who bagged 3m handicap at Musselburgh but made mistakes when only fifth at Ayr last time. Normally a sound jumper so he can't be ruled out.

Multiple point winner and fair winning chaser at his best. However, he has failed to make an impact all three runs since returning from a lengthy absence so has something to prove now.

Dual 3m Musselburgh scorer either side of Christmas and he has continued in good form there, third in 3m handicap last time. Can make his presence felt again.

Forecasts

Exit To Where (9/2), Oscar Ceremony (9/2), Mance Rayder (5/1), Event Of Sivola (6/1), Another Emotion (15/2), Damiens Dilemma (8/1), Eagle Ridge (17/2), Cash To Ash (9/1), The Late Legend (12/1), Well Smitten (16/1), Sandhurst Lad (16/1), Caventara (16/1), Racing Pulse (33/1), Mcginty's Dream (66/1)

Verdict

Plenty with chances but OSCAR CEREMONY is taken to gain a deserved first win for Brian Ellison having been set plenty to do when runner-up at Musselburgh last month. Cash To Ash has been hit with a 5 lb rise for his recent Ayr win but has relatively few miles on the clock so is feared most, with veteran Damiens Dilemma weighted to have a say too if he can keep the mistakes to a minimum.

  1. OSCAR CEREMONY (IRE)
  2. CASH TO ASH (IRE)
  3. DAMIENS DILEMMA (IRE)
