Ended time with Gavin Cromwell with 19f Downpatrick maiden chase success and career best when winning 9-runner handicap chase at Musselburgh (15.8f, soft) 7 weeks ago. Leading claims of following up.
Both chase victories have come at Wincanton and he again ran well when third over 20.2f there earlier this month. Another holding claims from workable mark.
Fairly useful 2m hurdler. Promising chase debut at Bangor on return but has failed to fire in recent outings, including when a well-beaten fourth at Chepstow last month. More needed.
Fairly useful chaser who returned to form on his final outing last season but has failed to fire on both starts this term, left poorly placed the way it went at Taunton last time. Not dismissed.
Posted career best when scoring in handicap at Southwell back in July. Went the wrong way both starts after that and interesting to see what the market makes of him after 7 month off. Blinkers on.
Fairly useful chaser who made a winning return at Warwick but seemed undone by a rise when fourth at Kempton next time. Rare poor effort (reportedly bled) at Doncaster so has his risks attached here.
Took well to fences last term, winning twice, and added to his tally on return at Fontwell. Struggled in better company since, but got back on track down in class/the weights at Plumpton last time.
Fairly useful winning hurdler who has made a good start chasing, running well when second over C&D earlier this month. Lacklustre effort 10 days later at Stratford so needs to put that behind him.

Forecasts
Ruinous (11/4), Shut The Box (3/1), Boagrius (11/2), Molineaux (6/1), Vienna Court (8/1), Flaminger (10/1), Isaac Wonder (16/1), Jaboticaba (20/1)
This can go to RUINOUS, who improved as he took his record over fences to 2 wins from 3 starts at Musselburgh early last month and there should be more to come from Tim Reed's lightly-raced 6-y-o. Molineaux continues to run well in defeat and he may have to settle for another placed effort here, with Shut The Box also respected if putting a lacklustre performance behind him 12 days ago.
