Forecasts

Vintage Clarets (11/4), Forca Brasil (11/4), Wonderful World (7/2), Makalu (7/2), Chipotle (8/1), Kenyan Commander (10/1), Dashing Rat (11/1), Muskateer Three (14/1), Graftonat (25/1), Black Hill Storm (28/1)

Verdict

The market should provide plenty of clues for the opening 2-y-o race of the season, but the speedily bred VINTAGE CLARETS is an obvious place to start given Richard Fahey's excellent record in this. Forca Brasil's sales price rose significantly from foal to yearling and looks another likely type, while the booking of James Doyle catches the eye on Wonderful World, whose yard won this in 2018.

  1. VINTAGE CLARETS
  2. FORCA BRASIL (IRE)
  3. WONDERFUL WORLD
