Right back on track when landing a gamble over C&D in December. Good second at Fakenham 2 days later and, providing conditions remain on the slow side, he should again be involved in the finish.
Consistent type who regained winning thread over this trip at Wincanton in November. Looked amiss at Huntingdon last time, but it'd be no surprise were he to bounce back here. Tongue strap enlisted.
Winning pointer who shaped well when runner-up in a maiden hurdle here in December. However, pulled up on his first run in a handicap chase at Chepstow last time and since undergone a wind op.
Signed off last season with a solid effort at Haydock, but inauspicious start for new yard when pulled up on belated return at Leicester. Now tried in blinkers.
Very useful chaser in his pomp, but not the force of old and most recent efforts have left much to be desired. Hopes pinned on first-time blinkers sparking a revival.
Dual hurdles winner who left tame chase debut behind when second at Hereford last March. However, no show in 3 runs this season (tried in cheekpieces last time) and connections now reach for blinkers.
Hurdles winner who made a positive start over fences when runner-up at Doncaster last February. Has made the frame on each of his 3 subsequent starts, albeit without really progressing.
Runner-up in Irish points and showed ability over hurdles last season. Shaped well sent chasing when fourth on return at Ayr (20.5f, heavy) in October and he's open to improvement in this sphere.
Little impact on first 2 starts over fences, but was very much in contention when falling 2 out at Catterick (19.2f, heavy) last month. Big player if first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect.
Back down to the mark off which he bagged this prize 12 months ago, but this season's efforts hardly suggest that he's likely to repeat the dose.
Overcome poor round of jumping to win at Catterick in December. Not disgraced when third at Newcastle (16.3f, soft) and each-way shout off 1 lb lower mark here.
Fair maiden hurdler/chaser for Noel Meade who made encouraging debut for this yard when fourth at Hereford in November. However, has failed to build on that since and now 0-15 over fences.

Forecasts
Frisson Collonges (10/3), Duhallow Lad (9/2), Discko Des Plages (11/2), Generation Gap (6/1), Seemingly So (7/1), Welsh's Castle (12/1), Cherokee Bill (14/1), Rosmuc Relay (16/1), Glance Back (20/1), Native Robin (25/1), Voix D'Eau (33/1), Gold Opera (50/1)
GENERATION GAP and Frisson Collonges both remain with potential over the larger obstacles and may be the pair to concentrate on. Preference is for the former, who was in there pitching when exiting at the second-last at Catterick last time and he makes plenty of appeal off the same mark here. Duhallow Lad is best of the rest.
