Sign Of War^p,t¹⁰⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Isabel Williams⁽⁵⁾| T: Evan Williams| OR: 100| D

22/1

More miss than hit since opening account in this sphere at Sedgefield last February, again let down by some sloppy jumping at Ffos Las on latest start in November.

Form: 12-72P5

Image of Stars that are filled with the colour gold

Uisce Ur^p¹⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 11-11| J: Luca Morgan⁽⁷⁾| T: B Pauling| OR: 99| D

17/2

All-the-way winner of an 18-runner handicap hurdle at Doncaster in January. Further progress when hitting the crossbar at Warwick (3¼m, soft) recently and another bold show anticipated.

Form: 43-5F12

Miss Gemstone^p¹⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Chester Williams⁽⁵⁾| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 99

40/1

Decent bits and pieces of form to her name, but winless following 12 starts overall and ran poorly in a handicap chase at Warwick 17 days ago.

Form: 64-2U3P

The Big Sting^t1⁹⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-10| J: Lorcan Murtagh⁽³⁾| T: H Fry| OR: 98

66/1

Glimmers of ability in bumpers, but hasn't shown much in 3 starts over hurdles and improvement needed now upped in trip for this handicap debut. Tongue strap applied.

Form: 47-750

Rod's Dream¹⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: Benjamin Poste| T: Mrs L J Young| OR: 97

50/1

Third sole start in bumpers back in May 2017, but has made little impact in trio of starts over hurdles for Ella Pickard. Big step forward needed now pitched into a handicap for new yard.

Form: 3/977

Camron De Chaillac^v¹⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 11-9| J: Tom Buckley⁽⁵⁾| T: N J Hawke| OR: 97| C

18/1

Dual winner during 2017/18 campaign, but his 2 efforts since returning from a 23-month absence in December have not been overly inspiring.

Form: 0674/9P

Master Tradesman¹¹

Age: 10| Weight: 11-7| J: Katie O'Farrell⁽⁵⁾| T: R Mitford-Slade| OR: 95| D

12/1

Dual point winner who went close to breaking his duck under Rules at Hereford last season. Has failed to reproduce that level of form in 3 subsequent starts, though.

Form: P3/269-5

Lanspark¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Harry Cobden| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 94

16/1

Hasn't made much of an impact in his 3 qualifying runs, but he's in good hands and improvement could be on the cards now upped in trip for this handicap debut.

Form: 458

Pour Une Raison^p1,h1¹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: Nick Mitchell| OR: 94

13/2

Sprung a 50/1 surprise when off the mark at Exeter in November. Bounced back from a couple of lesser efforts when third back there 17 days ago and should be involved. Cheekpieces applied.

Form: 5P1973

Bretney^p1²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: R Patrick| T: H D Daly| OR: 94

11/1

Best effort when fourth of 17 in 21.6f handicap at Exeter in December. Not disgraced at Wetherby last time and place possibilities with this stiffer test likely to be in his favour.

Form: 5-86456

Hurricane Arcadio¹²⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: James Best| T: M Blake| OR: 92

66/1

Modest chaser who was a respectable fifth at Stratford in October. Unseated rider next time and opposable back in this sphere (well held 2 previous starts over hurdles).

Form: P-23P5U

Nothing Man¹⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: R T Dunne| T: S Allwood| OR: 91

6/1

Still to get his head in front, but excellent second on yard debut at Huntingdon (25f) in November. Again performed with credit when fourth of 18 there recently and he's one for the shortlist.

Form: 8U4-264

Puzzle Cache^p²⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: David Noonan| T: C J Down| OR: 91| CD

10/1

Found some improvement when opening hurdles account at the ninth attempt over C&D (heavy) last month. Shade more needed in order to follow up off this 6 lb higher mark.

Form: 0-55531

Cobra Angel⁵¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Joe Anderson⁽⁷⁾| T: C J Down| OR: 90

11/1

Best run over hurdles when fourth on Exeter handicap debut (21f) in November. No impact in 3 subsequent starts, though, and yard saddles a stronger candidate in Puzzle Cache.

Form: P5-40P7

Queen Of The Court¹⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: T J O'Brien| T: J G Cann| OR: 90| D

3/1

Winning Irish pointer who has taken steps forward the last twice, latterly finishing well when second in an 18-runner Huntingdon handicap (20.7f, soft). 4 lb rise fair and she should go close.

Form: 080-742

Great Tempo^p²⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 10-10| J: Sean Houlihan⁽³⁾| T: D Pipe| OR: 84| C

40/1

Sole win over hurdles was registered back in December 2016. Scored over fences here last season, but has struggled since and plenty to prove now returned to this sphere.

Form: 17P-556

Forecasts

Queen Of The Court (3/1), Nothing Man (6/1), Pour Une Raison (13/2), Uisce Ur (17/2), Puzzle Cache (10/1), Cobra Angel (11/1), Bretney (11/1), Master Tradesman (12/1), Lanspark (16/1), Getthepot (16/1), Camron De Chaillac (18/1), Sign Of War (22/1), Miss Gemstone (40/1), Great Tempo (40/1), Rod's Dream (50/1), The Big Sting (66/1), Hurricane Arcadio (66/1)

This step up in trip promises to suit QUEEN OF THE COURT, who found just one too good at Huntingdon recently and is taken to go one better here. Uisce Ur lost no caste in defeat at Warwick last time and is feared most ahead of Pour Une Raison and Nothing Man.
