Bought for €320,000 after point win. Looked good prospect when scoring on 2m Newbury hurdles debut before failing to land the odds when upped in trip at Warwick 25 days ago. Remains with potential.

Fair form in Irish bumpers before (hooded) making winning hurdle/stable debut in 2m Ludlow maiden last month, scoring with bit in hand. This is tougher but he shouldn't be underestimated.

Has quickly made into a fairly useful hurdler, scoring under a positive ride in 2m Exeter novice on debut before good third there 26 days ago. May do better still but he'll need to here.

Fair form both starts over hurdles, fifth of 16 in 2m novice at Doncaster (40/1) 60 days ago. Back after wind op now with plenty more needed in this company.

Fair form shown in two bumpers but he goes hurdling now after 23 months off. In good hands but this is no easy comeback.

150/1, encouraging fourth of 8 in novice at Exeter (18.5f, heavy) on hurdles bow 26 days ago. Sure to build on that run but this demands a lot more.

Forecasts

Lecale's Article (11/10), Orbys Legend (9/4), Method Madness (10/3), Franigane (10/3), Morfee (20/1), Cossack Dancer (33/1), Kost A Coat (50/1)

Verdict

Nicky Henderson's expensive recruit LECALE'S ARTICLE couldn't follow up his impressive hurdles debut win when runner-up over 2m5f at Warwick but remains a good prospect at this trip and is taken to edge out Ludlow victor Method Madness.
