Took advantage of waywardness of the favourite when opening account in similar event at Sedgefield in November. Rusty and mistakes in listed event at Musselburgh 4 weeks ago. Lots of potential still.

Half-brother to bumper winner I Hope Star. Just a fair maiden on the Flat (stays 1¼m). Has joined red-hot local trainer but plenty of improvement to find to figure on this hurdles bow.
Half-brother to 3 winners, including jumpers Aterisk (useful) and Albares. One to note on debut.
Fairly useful maiden on the Flat who has shown promise on both starts over hurdles despite his jumping needing some work. Latest Warwick form looks good and he has more to offer.
Fair winning stayer on the Flat and he's made a promising start over hurdles, placed twice at Musselburgh (in front of stablemate Le Magnifique in listed event latest). Leading claims.
Faded and well beaten in Newcastle bumper on debut last month. Dam was a prolific winner over hurdles.
Dual Flat winner but proving expensive to follow in this sphere, turned over for the third time as favourite and proving particularly disappointing when last seen at Catterick in November. Risky.
Fair maiden on the level but has shaped like a non-stayer in 2 previous runs over hurdles over shorter.
Modest Flat maiden who has finished down the field in 2 runs over hurdles at Musselburgh fitted with tongue tie.

Forecasts
Feldspar (6/4), Magna Moralia (16/5), Caldwell (7/2), Le Magnifique (13/2), Bad Rabbit (10/1), Benito (18/1), Brodick (50/1), Monash (100/1), Les's Legacy (200/1)
Keith Dalgleish could hold the key to this and Fred Winter entry LE MAGNIFIQUE looks set for a big run. He looked rusty returning from 3 months off at Musselburgh and retains plenty of potential for this game. Stablemate Feldspar isn't in at Cheltenham but definitely has races in him over jumps, as does Caldwell for Michael Scudamore. Benito is an interesting newcomer.
