Age: 7| Weight: 12-1| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 136

11/4

Made up in to a useful chaser, very much back to form when runner-up at Ascot (21f) in November. Fit from success in jumpers bumper last month and he's worth considering.

Paddy's Poem²⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: James Davies| T: N J Gifford| OR: 133

15/2

Steadily progressive chaser, winning 3 times at around 2m during 2019. Has looked better than ever in defeat this season, placed twice in handicaps at Sandown and hard to discount.

Form: 21/12-23

Drumcliff^t⁷⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 11-7| J: R P McLernon| T: H Fry| OR: 128| C| D

12/1

Creditable third at Ascot (21f) in November but not in anything like same form when remote sixth there in December. Others more obvious returning from a short break.

Form: 073636

Molineaux⁵³

Age: 10| Weight: 11-6| J: R Johnson| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 127| CD

7/2

Both chase victories have come at this venue and he again ran well when runner-up over 15.7f back here in January. Another holding claims from workable mark.

Form: 42-3P22

Saint De Reve^t⁸³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Bryony Le Clerc| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 123| C

5/1

Fairly useful winner at 21f over hurdles who has failed to complete on last 3 starts, latterly unseating in a novices' handicap at Taunton (23f) in December. However, it's early days in this sphere.

Form: 318F-PU

Enrichissant^p¹³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Brendan Powell| T: D G Bridgwater| OR: 121| D

11/2

Off the mark over fences in good style at Huntingdon (19.8f) this time last year. Largely run respectably since the autumn and likely best not judged too harshly on his latest Sandown display.

Form: 1-2434P

Keep Moving⁶⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 10-9| J: T J O'Brien| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 116| CD

8/1

Landed a C&D event from 1 lb lower mark 15 months ago but below that level when last seen around here on Boxing Day, Short break may have perked him up.

Form: 15-4529

Forecasts

Earlofthecotswolds (11/4), Molineaux (7/2), Saint De Reve (5/1), Enrichissant (11/2), Paddy's Poem (15/2), Keep Moving (8/1), Drumcliff (12/1)

A competitive small-field affair with the vote in favour of EARLOFTHECOTSWOLDS. A cracking second from a 1 lb lower mark at Ascot in December, he arrives having scored in a jumpers bumper last month and is expected to go well in refitted cheekpieces. Molineaux, who has an excellent course record, and in-form Paddy's Poem are also on the shortlist.
