Fair form when in the frame first 2 bumper starts but disappointing since, including all 3 starts over hurdles.
Fair form on sole start in bumpers and after a low-key start to his hurdling career, looks the type to improve now upped in trip/handicapping, so he's a definite player.
Went close on handicap debut at Tipperary in August, but both outings for current stable have been pretty dismal.
Fair maiden hurdler who ran to a similar level in a couple of novice handicap chase last November. Hasn't returned in same form this winter, so needs to benefit from a return to hurdling.
Best effort so far when stepped up in trip and third in 19.5f Chepstow handicap (soft) last month. Each-way claims off the same mark.
Produced a promising first effort when second in a Ffos Las bumper in October. Yet to show much over hurdles but up in trip and potentially let in lightly off 88.
Modest chaser who performed with credit in a couple of mares' handicaps at Fakenham around the turn of the year. Well beaten back over hurdles at Wincanton 8 days ago, however.
Hasn't offered a great deal in a bumper/trio of starts over hurdles, but could fare better now handicapping from a low base up in trip.
Long-standing maiden who has shown next to nothing this season.
Point winner back in 2017. Fourth in a pair of handicaps at up to 2½m since headgear has gone on and leaves the impression this longer trip will suit. Shortlisted.
Generally disappointing for Ben Pauling but showed more spark when third of 14 in handicap hurdle at Taunton on debut for new stable 36 days ago. Excellent claims with Johnson booked.
Some signs of ability over hurdles, plugging on in to sixth over 19f at Taunton on her most recent completed start (fell last time). Step up in trip should be in her favour.

Forecasts
Banana Joe (3/1), Thundersockssundae (4/1), Outisaid (9/2), Apple Mack (7/1), Just Go For It (9/1), Coachella Green (11/1), Minella Away (18/1), Achy Breaky Heart (18/1), Stitch Up (25/1), Full Spes (25/1), Gilwen Grayson (28/1), Tarrona (50/1)
BANANA JOE didn't cut much ice for Ben Pauling but, having been second in a point in November, he returned to Rules with an encouraging third in a handicap hurdle starting out for Henry Daly, so he's worth a chance to build on that and take this open-looking race. Coachella Green and Gilwen Grayson also make the shortlist.
- BANANA JOE (IRE)
- COACHELLA GREEN (IRE)
- GILWEN GRAYSON
