Followed Lingfield success with career-best win in handicap at Chelmsford City (7f) 8 days ago. Carries 5 lb penalty and another bold showing is likely from front-runner if he takes to tapeta.
C&D winner for Mark Johnston who posted creditable second of 7 in handicap (6/4) at Lingfield (6f) on yard debut 20 days ago. Can give another good account.
Latest win at Newcastle in September. 15/2, creditable fifth of 10 to Fred in handicap at Chelmsford City (7f) 8 days ago, not ideally placed. Respected.
Latest win at Southwell in December but had busy spell before below-form third of 8 in handicap there 50 days ago. Could bounce back after his short break.
Course winner for Marco Botti but (11/1) shaped as if in need of run after 3 months off for new yard when fading fifth in handicap over C&D 28 days ago. Not taken lightly with that run under his belt.
Four-time winner last year but he's proving in and out of late, below-par fifth of 8 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 7 days ago. Course winner but others appeal more.
Fair maiden for Richard Hannon but off track since second over C&D 16 months ago. Goes into handicaps for new yard with his fitness to prove.
Impressive back-to-back C&D winner this year but not seen to best effect under a double penalty when fourth over 6f here last time, racing wide from poor draw. Interesting back at optimum trip.
Back to form of late, nearest finish when good third of 7 in handicap at this C&D 53 days ago. Still low mileage, so he needs considering.

Forecasts
One Hart (9/4), Fred (7/2), Eldelbar (9/2), Seas Of Elzaam (7/1), Batchelor Boy (17/2), Spring Romance (11/1), All You Wish (16/1), Fieldsman (25/1), Well Prepared (50/1)
ELDELBAR really impressed when scoring twice over C&D but didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fourth back at 6f here last time and can be seen to much better effect now. Batchelor Boy should be all the better for his recent C&D fifth after a break so is feared most on only his second run for George Boughey with hat-trick-seeking Fred not taken lightly either on his first go on tapeta.
- ELDELBAR (SPA)
- BATCHELOR BOY (IRE)
