Hurdles winner at Tipperary last year and bettered chase debut/reappearance effort for new yard when fifth of 14 at Wetherby last time. Still, more needed off a stiff-looking mark back in this sphere.
Missed whole of last season, but has returned to action with a couple of solid efforts this term, finding just one too good in an 18-runner Doncaster handicap last time. High on the shortlist.
Yet to fully fire this term and was a long way adrift od Calarules at Doncaster last month. Still, he's now 6 lb lower than when scoring at Catterick last February and blinkers are given another try.
Some decent bits and pieces of form to his name, but below par at Catterick last time and hurdles record stands at 0-18.
Belatedly added to first success under Rules back in 2015 when scoring at Ayr last spring. Now 4 lb below that winning mark, but with good reason following 4 heavy defeats this season.
Veteran mare who regained the winning thread at Fakenham last month. Up 6 lb and her profile suggests that she's far from certain to reproduce that form, but will be a danger to all if able to do so.
Poor handicap hurdler who seemed amiss at Wetherby when last seen in December. Hard to fancy.
Very lightly-raced mare who posted respectable fifth of 14 in handicap chase at Hexham (24.2f) 54 days ago. However, she has offered little in 4 previous starts in this sphere.

Forecasts
Avithos (4/1), Mamoo (9/2), Wind Of Hope (5/1), Little Saint (11/2), Calarules (11/2), The Reaping Race (7/1), Ciarabella (11/1), Bunny Boru (12/1), Lammturner (12/1)
CALARULES went down all guns blazing at Doncaster on his second start following a lengthy absence last month and, still potentially well-handicapped despite going up 3 lb for that, he should prove a tough nut to crack. If in the same form as when striking at Fakenham last time, Avithos will give the selection most to think about. Mamoo has a bit to prove, but is best of the rest all the same.
