Democratic Oath¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Callum Bewley| T: K Dalgleish

4/5

Displayed a fair level of ability in bumpers and improved from hurdling debut when 6¾ lengths fifth of 7 in good quality novice at Musselburgh (15.6f) 18 days ago. Sets a good standard on that run.

Form: 33-335

Moonlight Beam¹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Aaron Anderson⁽⁷⁾| T: Justin Landy

15/2

Placed in Irish points and on 2 of his 3 outings in bumpers. The form no better than fair but he should have a future over hurdles.

Form: 63P-352

Pitempton Power⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Harry Reed| T: A C Whillans

5/1

Just poor form in a pair of bumpers. but shaped much better starting out over hurdles when fourth of 10 in a 17f novice at Carlisle last week.

Form: 674

Sambezi⁷⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Harry Bannister| T: O Signy| BF

13/2

Fairly useful bumper winner. Disappointing at Bangor last time, but worth another chance now switching to hurdles after a break.

Form: F-125

Skipness²⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Nathan Moscrop⁽³⁾| T: T D Easterby

7/1

Showed more than previously when fifth of 16 in a maiden hurdle at Catterick (19.3f, heavy) 20 days ago, but is perhaps more one for handicaps after this.

Form: 665

Westdante⁶⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Ross Chapman| T: D Brooke

80/1

No impact in a pair of maiden hurdles, latest over C&D.

Form: F/P2-P5

You Some Boy⁴⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Sean Quinlan| T: R Menzies

50/1

€3,000 Dylan Thomas gelding who shaped liked a stayer when fourth of 7 in a Newcastle bumper on debut in January.

Form: 4

Princess Avery²³

Age: 7| Weight: 10-9| J: Sam Coltherd⁽³⁾| T: S Corbett

50/1

Well held in 2 novice hurdles 15 months apart and fared little better switched to a jumpers bumper last time.

Form: P33/5-66

Forecasts

Democratic Oath (4/5), Pitempton Power (5/1), Sambezi (13/2), Skipness (7/1), Moonlight Beam (15/2), Amma Lord (40/1), Princess Avery (50/1), You Some Boy (50/1), Westdante (80/1)

DEMOCRATIC OATH wasn't beaten far in a good quality novice at Musselburgh 18 days ago, and a reproduction of that effort should see him difficult to beat. Sambezi and Moonlight Beam have both displayed ability in bumpers, so are worth a look now going hurdling.
