Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: Sean Quinlan| T: G Boanas| OR: 130| CD

5/1

Ran right up to best when regaining winning thread at Market Rasen (23f) in November. Another solid display when third at Doncaster thereafter but current mark looks about right.

Better Getalong^p1⁸²

Age: 10| Weight: 11-9| J: R D Day| T: N G Richards| OR: 129

16/1

Creditable efforts in his 3 outings last term but yet to hit form in two runs this campaign. Short break needs to have perked him up.

Form: 5/532-P6

Eternally Yours⁷⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: Blair Campbell⁽³⁾| T: D W Whillans| OR: 126

4/1

Not at her best in handful of appearances last season, but kicked off present campaign by going close in a strong Aintree handicap (2½m) in December. 4 lb rise fair and she's one for the shortlist.

Form: 12/373-2

Prince Kayf¹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Craig Nichol| T: K Dalgleish| OR: 126

9/2

Quickly made up into a good hurdler, beating Imperial Alcazar in the mud at Newcastle (22f) last winter. Entitled to be sharper for belated return/handicap debut at Musselburgh recently.

Form: 1/212-5

Minella Trump⁴²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 125

10/3

Looked a useful prospect over hurdles during 2019/20. Not gone on from chase debut with below par displays at Doncaster but certainly not one to write off back over smaller obstacles.

Form: 2D4-353

Multellie⁸²

Age: 9| Weight: 11-4| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: T D Easterby| OR: 124| CD

9/1

Fairly useful winning hurdler but despite being fit from the Flat he's been unable to make an impact in handicaps at Wetherby/Haydock this winter. Mark is falling but others still preferred.

Form: 2216-47

Overcourt¹²⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Ryan Mania| T: A M Thomson| OR: 120

5/1

Ended last term on the up with 2½m hurdle wins at Musselburgh and Newcastle. Excellent start chasing when second in Sedgefield maiden on return and may well have bit more to offer back over hurdles.

Form: 85311-2

Forecasts

Minella Trump (10/3), Eternally Yours (4/1), Prince Kayf (9/2), Teescomponents Lad (5/1), Overcourt (5/1), Multellie (9/1), Better Getalong (16/1)

ETERNALLY YOURS ran a cracker when runner-up in a race that is working out very well at Aintree in December and she's fancied to put up another bold showing from a 4 lb higher mark. Overcourt has a positive profile also and is feared back over timber, whilst Prince Kayf may well come forward for his Musselburgh return effort 2 weeks ago.
