10/3

Showed the benefit of his reappearance run when snapping a losing run stretching back over 2 years at Plumpton last month. Only nudged up 2 lb but doesn't have profile of one likely to follow up.

Dentley De Mee^p⁵²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: J E Moore| T: Nick Williams| OR: 104

4/1

Fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser who has got back on track of late, reaching the frame for the fourth start in succession when fourth of 14 at Market Rasen 52 days ago. This bit less competitive.

Form: 773344

Hedgeinator^p³⁸

Age: 11| Weight: 11-10| J: Sean Houlihan⁽³⁾| T: R Stephens| OR: 102

25/1

Back-to-back chase winner during early 2018 but lightly raced in recent times, pulling up on both outing this term. Mark on the slide but has a fair bit to prove.

Form: 432/4-PP

Clondaw Rigger^t⁶⁷

12/1

More miss than hit last season and has failed to build on a positive reappearance this time round. Others are more persuasive.

Form: 54-2479

6/4

Right back on song when winning 25f handicap hurdle at Huntingdon in November and did remarkably well to overcome a slither on landing at last when following up over C&D. Can complete hat-trick.

Form: 122411

Age: 9| Weight: 10-0| J: Ben Godfrey⁽⁵⁾| T: Kieran Burke| OR: 75| C

11/2

Winning hurdler back in 2019 but isn't one to be interested in nowadays, finishing a remote fifth over C&D last time.

Forecasts

First Man (6/4), I See You Well (10/3), Dentley De Mee (4/1), Mr Magill (11/2), Clondaw Rigger (12/1), In Arrears (20/1), Hedgeinator (25/1)

FIRST MAN's new mark is still lower than the one he won from over hurdles in November so he's a confident pick to add to December's C&D win. Dentley de Mee's latest fourth in the Lincolnshire National reads well in the context of this race so he can give Oliver Greenall's charge most to do.
