All 6 wins under Rules have come here but the last of them was over 2 years ago. Successful in point when last seen 11 months ago but at veteran stage now. One of 3 from yard. Betting should guide.
2m Newcastle novice winner in the mud last winter. Not disgraced in Musselburgh handicaps on last 2 starts. Perhaps just stretched by 3m latterly so this trip could be ideal.
Has returned very much on the up, confirming reappearance promise with ready win over C&D in December. Caught out by drop in trip at Musselburgh since and likely he's still on a workable mark.
Arrives well out of sorts, faring no better for a visor (retained) at Musselburgh 4 weeks ago. Plenty to prove.
Notched 3 wins in 2019 but hasn't been seen since the last of those in Sedgefield handicap in October of that year. Returns off same mark but watching brief percentage call given length of absence.
Scored at Hexham in September but that is very much a stand-out effort this season, again dropping away tamely at Musselburgh last month.
Improved efforts since sent handicapping, fifth of 12 at Plumpton (20.5f, soft) 74 days ago. Less exposed than a lot of these now stepping up in trip.
Winning pointer who stepped up on hurdles debut effort when fourth in Sedgefield novice in November. Failed to build on that when remote fourth at Musselburgh since. Up in trip for handicap debut.
Notched 4 wins at modest level last winter, including over C&D. Hasn't returned in the same sort of form, though, and his mark remains higher than for any of those wins. Cheekpieces replace hood.
Narrowly beaten off reduced mark over hurdles at Hexham in November. Well held on completed start over fences since but perhaps he'll fare better returned to smaller obstacles.
Arrives in search of a hat-trick after wins around 3m at Wetherby and Catterick under Aaron Anderson at the turn of the year. Further 9 lb rise may not stop him.

Forecasts
Artic Mann (9/4), Oliver's Island (10/3), Off The Beat (5/1), Kaproyale (5/1), Skyhill (14/1), Chanceiton (18/1), Morningside (20/1), Achill Road Boy (22/1), Court Baloo (33/1), Landecker (33/1), Ryedale Racer (80/1)
OLIVER'S ISLAND has been given a bit of time since 2 wins on very testing ground just after Christmas and may be capable of completing the hat-trick on his return. Artic Mann is an obvious threat back at the scene of his win in December, while the Olly Murphy team is in better form now than when Kaproyale was last seen in December so it would be no surprise to see this 6-y-o take a step forward.
- OLIVER'S ISLAND (IRE)
- ARTIC MANN
- KAPROYALE
