Forecasts

Eldelbar (15/8), Critical Thinking (3/1), Blame Culture (5/1), Pholas (6/1), Little Red Socks (7/1), Maurice Dancer (10/1), Bombastic (11/1), Lucky Lodge (20/1), Mostaqqer (33/1), Lets Go Lucky (66/1)

Verdict

Though not at his best here last time, BOMBASTIC went down all guns blazing off this mark on his penultimate start at Lingfield and a reproduction of that would give him every chance in this open-looking heat. Assuming recent Newcastle winner Pholas and Eldelbar don't go to post (both ran here on Sunday), the selection may have most to fear from Blame Culture and Critical Thinking.

  2. BLAME CULTURE (USA)
  3. CRITICAL THINKING (IRE)
