13/2

Beaten 3 lengths when third of 5 to Fayathaan in handicap (5/2) at Lingfield (7f, AW) 22 days ago. Ought to finish much closer to that rival on these revised terms.

2/1

C&D winner in October. Last of 4 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f, 13/2) 11 days ago. Others appeal as more likely winners on this occasion.

Form: 5817-34

(4)

9/2

Successful at Newcastle in November. 16/1, second of 4 in handicap there (7.1f) 11 days ago, responding well. Improvement required, but she's lightly-raced and may have more to offer.

Form: 17-2

(1)

10/1

Forecasts

Falcon Brook (2/1), Nortonthorpe Boy (3/1), Fayathaan (4/1), Majestic Tejaan (9/2), Rivers Lad (9/2), Toussarok (13/2), Donny Marlow (10/1), Nagasaki Dream (50/1)

NORTONTHORPE BOY is clearly thriving at present, winning 3 of his last 4 starts, and a 6 lb rise for his recent Kempton success is unlikely to prevent him from going in again. Toussarok has a good chance of reversing Lingfield placings with Fayathaan on these terms and merits respect, but Majestic Tejaan, who was just ahead of Mark Loughnane's charge at Newcastle 11 days ago, is second choice.
