22/1

Landed this race 12 months ago. However, lightly raced and well held all 3 starts since, last of 9 in handicap at Lingfield (12f, AW, 50/1) 37 days ago. Needs to step up to figure.

Plansina^h²⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 9-8| J: David Probert| T: A Wintle| OR: 56

5/1

Latest win at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in December. Eighth of 12 in handicap back at that venue (12.2f) 20 days ago, left with a lot to do from her position. Best treated as still in form.

Form: 31331-8

Liva^p²⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 9-6| J: J Fanning| T: Stef Keniry| OR: 54

5/1

Fifteen runs since last win in 2018. Creditable fifth of 12 in handicap (18/1) at Wolverhampton (12.2f) 20 days ago. Has fallen plenty in weights and interesting if backing that up.

Form: 25936-5

French Mix⁴³

Age: 7| Weight: 9-6| J: Liam Keniry| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 54| D

4/1

Thirteen runs since last win in 2019. Fourth of 11 in handicap (12/1) at Lingfield (12f, AW) 43 days ago, needing stiffer test. Another who has been given a chance by the assessor.

Form: 0/00004-

Productive^b¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 9-4| J: Dylan Hogan⁽³⁾| T: Miss J Feilden| OR: 55

22/1

100/1 and blinkered for 1st time, tenth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 18 days ago. Significant step up in trip needs to have a positive effect now.

Form: 69000-0

General Brook^p¹⁸⁸

Age: 11| Weight: 9-4| J: Ciaran McKee| T: J G M O'Shea| OR: 52| CD

40/1

C&D winner. Sixteen runs since last win in 2018. 4/1, eleventh of 12 in handicap at Chepstow (12f) in July, fading out of things as if amiss. Ran well on return last year though, so no forlorn hope.

Form: 5234/20-

(10)

Thunderoad²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-3| J: Tom Marquand| T: A W Carroll| OR: 51

15/2

Temperamental and he remains a maiden after 26 Flat runs. Not seen to best effect when ninth of 11 at Lingfield (10f) 3 weeks ago but capable of getting involved on balance of last year's form.

Form: 07345-9

(1)

Ocho Grande¹¹⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-2| J: Georgia Dobie⁽⁵⁾| T: R T Phillips| OR: 53

10/1

Unreliable type. Fifth of 14 in handicap at this course (1m) in September, off bridle long way out and only consenting to run on late. Since switched yards but he's a risky proposition up in trip.

Form: 0/90365-

Mi Laddo^t¹³

Age: 5| Weight: 9-0| J: J F Egan| T: M F Harris| OR: 48

10/3

Respectable fourth of 10 in handicap (5/1) at Lingfield (12f, AW) 13 days ago. Has made a solid enough start for new yard at a low level and he's fancied to give another good account.

Form: 5639/24

(4)

Hi There Silver⁴³

Age: 7| Weight: 8-12| J: Mollie Phillips⁽⁷⁾| T: M Madgwick| OR: 45| C

9/1

One win from 33 Flat runs. 40/1, creditable sixth of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (12f, AW) 43 days ago. Expected to find a few too good again.

Forecasts

Mi Laddo (10/3), French Mix (4/1), Plansina (5/1), Liva (5/1), Thunderoad (15/2), Mistress Nellie (8/1), Hi There Silver (9/1), Ocho Grande (10/1), Wally's Wisdom (22/1), Productive (22/1), General Brook (40/1)

A very trappy affair with a chance taken on LIVA. His losing run is mounting up but he went close on occasions last year and looked unlucky not to finish closer when fifth at Wolverhampton 3 weeks ago. French Mix, Mi Laddo and Mistress Nellie head up the dangers.
