Age: 5| Weight: 9-10| J: B A Curtis| T: H Whittington| OR: 71

12/1

Fairly useful maiden on Flat who caught the eye when third over hurdles here (15.8f) in November, running on having conceded first run. Booking of Ben Curtis catches the eye returned to the level.

3-time C&D winner. Shaped better than bare result when fifth of 8 in handicap here (11.1f) 6 days ago, paying late on for taking a strong hold early. Not dismissed out of hand.

Form: 29034-5

(5)

Contingency Fee^p,h⁶

Forecasts

Lord Of The Alps (5/4), Cold Harbour (11/4), Contingency Fee (5/1), Grimsthorpe Castle (6/1), Artistic Language (12/1), Ezanak (200/1)

LORD OF THE ALPS confirmed the promise of his Kempton return when making all at Wolverhampton 5 days ago and, unpenalised for that effort, he's fancied to play a leading role again if proving as effective on fibresand. Grimsthorpe Castle continues in good heart around here and is feared, ahead of Artistic Language, who caught the eye over hurdles latest.
