Recent efforts have lacked spark and though dangerous to completely rule out off a winning mark, he appears more at home on faster ground nowadays.

Winning pointer who has finished in the money on each of his 3 completed starts over hurdles. Now tried in cheekpieces and place possibilities if finding some improvement on this handicap debut.

Largely creditable efforts last season, the highlight being a victory over 24.3f at this course. Beaten a long way on recent C&D reappearance, but probably needed the run and he's not discounted.

Winner of 5 lb higher mark at Hexham on second run for this yard in October 2019. However, pulled up on 4 of his 5 subsequent starts and hopes here pinned on first-time visor sparking a revival.

Left reappearance effort behind when resuming winning ways in decisive fashion at Kelso (25.8f, good to soft) in October. Conditions no problem, but 7 lb rise may find her out.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-5| J: David Bass| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR:  108| C
Low-mileage 7-y-o who made a winning handicap debut at Exeter last winter. Improved in first-time cheekpieces when adding to his tally on return here (19.5f, heavy) in November and 5 lb rise fair.

Age: 8|  Weight: 11-3| J: Max Kendrick(3)| T: L Morgan| OR:  106
Ended 2018/19 campaign on a winning note, but missed whole of last season and comeback run on debut for this yard at Haydock was pretty uninspiring. Visor applied.

Multiple point winner who has just one success to his name from 16 starts under Rules, namely a Sedgefield novice back in August 2016. Probably best watched back from a lengthy absence for new yard.

Forecasts

Those Tiger Feet (7/4), Jessiemac (7/2), Bullion Boss (6/1), Carlow Farmer (8/1), J'Ai Froid (8/1), Kalaharry (14/1), Western Rules (14/1), Gran Paradiso (16/1), Camile (25/1), Ryedale Racer (33/1)

Verdict

Ready preference is for THOSE TIGER FEET, who did the job well on his reappearance here in November and a 5 lb rise looks manageable, particularly given that there could be better to come on just his seventh start over hurdles. Assuming Bullion Boss doesn't take his chance (won at Musselburgh on New Year's Day), Kalaharry and Carlow Farmer may emerge as the main dangers.
