Zoolander^b²⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-6| J: J Fanning| T: J A Osborne| OR: 58

7/2

Modest form. Second on C&D nursery debut but not in same form when 6¼ lengths seventh of 12 to Spirit of Rowdown over C&D since, making effort earlier than ideal.

Form: 00027

(11)

Maxine⁷⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-6| J: L Morris| T: H J L Dunlop| OR: 58

7/1

Lightly-raced maiden. Did well under circumstances when third of 13 in C&D nursery 77 days ago, nearest at finish after being forced wide. Draw could have been kinder but of interest from her mark.

13/2

Thrice-raced maiden. Sixth of 10 in novice at Lingfield (1m) 17 days ago. In good hands and could have more to offer now switching to a low-grade handicap.

Beau Tinker²⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-4| J: Charlie Bennett| T: M D I Usher| OR: 56| CD

11/10

Improved to win nurseries at Chelmsford and over C&D (few of these rivals behind) last month. A 4 lb rise is unlikely to prevent him making a bold bid for the hat-trick.

Form: 842511

Forecasts

Spirit Of Rowdown (11/10), Zoolander (7/2), Classy Dame (6/1), Kingdom Found (13/2), Maxine (7/1), Beau Tinker (14/1), Flotilla (14/1), Vivid Imagination (16/1), Ghostly (18/1), Step Sister (25/1), Baroness Rachael (25/1)

SPIRIT OF ROWDOWN may be able to defy the handicapper again and complete a hat-trick. Maxine shaped quite well on her C&D nursery debut and should be on the premises if the outside stall doesn't prove too much of an inconvenience. Kingdom Found and Step Sister hail from decent yards and rate potential improvers now handicapping.
