Goodgirlteresa³⁸

Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr D Andrews⁽⁷⁾| T: K Woollacott| OR: 99

10/1

Veteran mare was right back on song reverted to hurdling when cosy winner of 17-runner handicap at Wincanton (19.7f) in March. Looked rusty on return at Chepstow and should be sharper now.

Form: 7/3471-5

Pour Une Raison²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-10| J: Mr Zac Baker| T: N R Mitchell| OR: 97| CD

11/2

Downed tools and tailed off when pulled up on Plumpton handicap debut but a totally different proposition when springing a big surprise at Exeter 3 weeks later. Up 8 lb and task is to back that up.

Form: 4-055P1

Another Frontier^p²¹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-10| J: Finn Lambert⁽⁷⁾| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 97

25/1

Won a couple of 3m handicap chases in 2018. Well held completed start this term, unseating rider over fences last time.

Form: 3963-0U

Katies Escape^p1⁵⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Mr Isaac Buncle⁽⁷⁾| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 96

14/1

Surpassed qualifying efforts when fourth on handicap debut over 18.5f here in October. Shapes as though this step up in trip will suit and she's unexposed. Cheekpieces fitted.

Form: 8684-4

Bretney²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-8| J: Alice Stevens⁽⁷⁾| T: H D Daly| OR: 95

12/1

Well held in a bumper and 4 hurdles outings so far, failing to improve for the switch to handicaps over this C&D last month.

Form: 035-86

Parlour Maid^t²⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-8| J: Mr Robert Hawker| T: R G Hawker| OR: 95

66/1

Scored over fences at Lingfield a year ago and signed off for season with good fourth at this venue. Temperament looks to be getting the better of her on more recent efforts.

Form: U8P4-PP

Legende de Minuit^p²⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Mr F Procter⁽⁷⁾| T: H Fry| OR: 94

16/1

Best run in maiden/novice hurdles last season when fourth over 19f at Taunton in March. Shaped as if amiss on handicap bow/return and merely plugged on for fourth fitted with cheekpieces latest.

Form: P0P4-P4

Dorrana^p²⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Mr Joshua Newman⁽³⁾| T: K Woollacott| OR: 93

6/1

Has generally looked limited as a hurdler, dropping out of contention following 9 months off at Chepstow last month.

Form: 8/0566-4

Panatos²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-3| J: Miss Thomosina Eyston⁽⁷⁾| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 90

28/1

Improved on last season's 3 efforts over hurdles when third on return/handicap debut at Newton Abbot (16.8f). Failed to improve right away for a longer trip at Taunton but wasn't disgraced.

Form: 080-36

Flou Artsistique^b²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Mr Martin McIntyre⁽³⁾| T: D Pipe| OR: 89

5/1

From a good family and not judged too harshly on latest fifth over C&D, badly hampered on the home turn. Very likely has a bigger performance in him.

Form: 8700-85

Amzac Magic^b,t²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Tristan Durrell⁽⁷⁾| T: Jack Barber| OR: 89

4/1

Back from a very low-key spell when runner-up in a claimer at Lingfield, but it was very hard work and that isn't a solid piece of form.

Form: 496-002

Comeragh Lad²⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: David Prichard⁽³⁾| T: R Chapman| OR: 85

14/1

Maiden point winner in January but yet to make a significant impact over hurdles, albeit he did show a bit more ridden positively when fourth to Pour Une Raison over C&D last time.

Form: 133-874

Big Picture⁵³³

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: Mr Arron Butterfield⁽⁷⁾| T: J Farrelly| OR: 85

25/1

Dual hurdles winner in 2018/19 but off since unseating rider in July 2019. Yard in form but this one goes without any headgear and is passed over.

Form: 619F/4U-

Bellamy's Grey³²

Age: 8| Weight: 10-11| J: Miss N Parker⁽³⁾| T: C J Gray| OR: 84

25/1

Lazy sort who ran no sort of race over fences following 9 months off in November so has a lot to prove.

Form: 02656-P

Avithos^b²⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 10-6| J: Miss H C Tucker⁽⁷⁾| T: Mark Gillard| OR: 79| C

14/1

Below par in just 2 runs last term but signs she was in better form when fourth on 19.5f Chepstow return last month. Well backed but failed badly to build on that over C&D latest.

Form: 13/P6-40

Tiger Sam^b⁹

Age: 10| Weight: 10-6| J: Miss Heidi Stevens⁽⁷⁾| T: L Hurley| OR: 79

150/1

Dual winner up to 25f over fences for Noel Meade in 2016. Record distinctly mixed thereafter, however, and has offered little in 4 outings for new connections.

Form: 33P55-P

Control Me⁷⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-4| J: Ellis Collier⁽⁷⁾| T: Miss Sarah Robinson| OR: 77

100/1

Winning pointer but lightly raced and has looked very limited in her qualifying runs.

Form: 4F/37-9P

Forecasts

Amzac Magic (4/1), Flou Artsistique (5/1), Pour Une Raison (11/2), Darksideoftarnside (11/2), Dorrana (6/1), Goodgirlteresa (10/1), Bretney (12/1), Avithos (14/1), Comeragh Lad (14/1), Katies Escape (14/1), Legende de Minuit (16/1), Bellamy's Grey (25/1), Another Frontier (25/1), Big Picture (25/1), Panatos (28/1), Parlour Maid (66/1), Control Me (100/1), Tiger Sam (150/1)

DARKSIDEOFTARNSIDE surely found the Uttoxeter race coming too soon 5 days after his Chepstow win, and given a short break, is taken to cash in on what remains a very good mark based on his Flat form. Por Une Raison landed a C&D contest last time and won't lack for assistance from the saddle, while top connections must be persevering with Flou Artsistique for a reason.
