Forecasts

Alpha Theta (11/4), Kayarnah (3/1), Ocean Beyond (7/2), Dublin Blue (17/2), Root Sixty Six (10/1), Mia Dolan (12/1), Recall It All (20/1), Hunter's Dawn (28/1)

Verdict

An uncompetitive event in which Mark Johnston's newcomer ALPHA THETA makes most appeal given connections. Her dam was a useful type who won both on debut and on an all-weather surface so she is the tentative selection. Root Sixty Six is out of a mare that went really well round here so has to be considered on debut. Mia Dolan didn't disgrace herself here last month and can't be ruled out.

  1. ALPHA THETA
  2. ROOT SIXTY SIX
  3. MIA DOLAN (USA)
