C&D winner back in 2018 but cut little ice last term, including when ridden too aggresively at this course (29.2f, heavy) back in March. Dropped to a tempting mark and not without hope on return.
Immediate improvement switched to fences, off the mark at second attempt in 3m Uttoxeter handicap in August. Emphasis on speed didn't seem to suit at Chepstow last time so needs considering.
Dual hurdles winner who showed improved form to score over fences here (20f) last December. Shaped well over longer trip when runner-up on return at Southwell so merits respect as his mark eases.
Just minor promise in 4 hurdles starts last season, but dam a half-sister to a couple of useful chasers and he's offered a lot more in a couple of starts over fences this term. Not discounted.
Much-improved to open account over fences when taking this contest last year. However, consistency not his strong suit though, and he's been pulled up all 3 starts since, including on return.
Off the mark in Leicester handicap hurdle (16f) last December. Ran poorly in 2 subsequent starts and shaped as if the run was needed on chase bow/return at Hereford last month. Worth a market check.
Seemingly benefited from first-time cheekpieces as he showed improved form when digging deep to win 5-runner handicap chase (7/2) at Wetherby (24.2f, soft) 26 days ago. Should go well up just 2 lb.
Won a weak novice handicap chase at Ffos Las in June 2019, but no impact since and looked rusty after 10 months off when well held at Chepstow last month.
Fair winning hurdler at his best but ended 2018/19 below par. Lightly raced since and ran to similar level as on return when third at Exeter last month. Cheekpieces applied and he's not without hope.
Veteran who's on the downgrade and others preferred.

Forecasts
Volcano (10/3), Kilpin (9/2), Commit Or Quit (9/2), Vango De Vaige (11/2), Manofthemoment (15/2), Anywayyoulookatit (11/1), The Crooner (11/1), Book of Gold (16/1), Oneida Tribe (25/1), Goodnight Charlie (28/1), Chimes Of Dylan (80/1)
MANOFTHEMOMENT gets the nod to go one better than on his reappearance having shaped as if retaining all his ability after 10 months off at Southwell last month. He should come on from that, and looks set to go very close with his mark easing a touch. Volcano rates as the main threat with Ben Jones' claim negating most of the rise he received for his recent win, ahead of Kilpin and The Crooner.
