Earth Moor⁴⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: R Johnson| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 132| C

5/2

Useful winning hurdler who (9/1) was held on fencing bow when fifth of 7 in novice chase at Stratford (20.9f) 40 days ago. May do better now into handicaps but he needs to.

Form: 1/1201-5

Black Kalanisi²²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: D A Jacob| T: J Tuite| OR: 131

10/3

Done well in all disciplines and has made a promising start over fences this term, landing 20f handicap at Plumpton 22 days ago. Has more to off chasing after just three runs so holds leading claims.

Form: 12/5-U31

The Dubai Way^p²⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-4| J: Harry Bannister| T: C J Mann| OR: 127

10/1

Fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser at his best but well below par both runs this season, pulled up in 3m handicap chase at Bangor 27 days ago. Easily opposed.

Form: 1/155-8P

Mortens Leam⁵¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-0| J: Liam Harrison⁽⁷⁾| T: M Hawker| OR: 123| CD

7/1

Signed off for last season with idling Wetherby victory and returned with excellent second of 8 in 3m Kempton handicap. Up 3 lb but C&D winner and sure to go well again.

Form: 552U1-2

Uncle Danny²⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 11-0| J: Mr P York⁽³⁾| T: P York| OR: 123

80/1

Useful Irish chaser at best for John Queally but (100/1) off almost 3 years before last of 9 in 18f Kempton handicap chase on yard debut last month. Very hard to warm to at present.

Form: 53932/9

Antony³²

9/2

C&D winner who arrives in good nick, second of 9 in 25f handicap chase at Warwick 32 days ago. Well worth considering nudged up just 1 lb.

Form: P4U5-22

Weight: 11-2| Age: 10

Forecasts

Earth Moor (5/2), Aintree My Dream (3/1), Black Kalanisi (10/3), Kilbricken Storm (9/2), Antony (9/2), Mortens Leam (7/1), The Dubai Way (10/1), Uncle Danny (80/1)

BLACK KALANISI is a likeable sort who is still quite unexposed over fences so he is fancied to add to his recent Plumpton success off a 4 lb higher mark here. C&D scorer Antony is knocking on the door again so rates the biggest danger with in-form duo Mortens Leam and Aintree My Dream the pick of the remainder.
